Welcome to www.pakistan-explorer.com.

Immense criminal negligence on part of both government and private sector which spans over decades, led to the creation of www.pakistan-explorer.com which has one supreme purpose of promoting the priceless bounty of natural beauty the country possesses. The tourism in Pakistan with all its natural wonders and all the grand peaks that the country holds in her lap, is still grossly underrated and unexplored even by the local masses within the country let alone the foreign community. Www.pakistan-explorer.com was launched with a distinct vision to bring these breathtaking sights and sounds to the limelight in order to draw awareness towards the huge treasure trove of natural beauty the country has been sitting over in all this time.

Www.pakistan-explorer.com is determined to help the third generation of Pakistan to break through this blinding oblivion which has kept them from exploring their own neighbourhood since  long.

Www.pakistan-explorer.com strives to bring high quality snaps and footage of rarely explored places in Pakistan in order to increase the inflow of local as well as international tourists to these places. The country is known to be the home of  40 out of the 50 tallest peaks in the world. It is the home of the longest glaciers on earth after the polar cap. The legendary Karakorum range is  notoriously famous for the dreaded peaks which are considered one of the most difficult and deadliest to climb on. Five of the 14 eight thousand meter high peaks, better known as the eight thousanders, are in Pakistan, including Nanga Parbat and K-2, both having the highest causality rates in climbing circles. The duo is often termed as the “Killer mountains”.

Skardu, capital of Gilgit-Baltistan,
is another serene places in the country and is apparently more of a valley between these giant mountains.

Deosai National Park, the second highest plateau in the world, is 80 kms away from Skardu and is home of the endangered Himalayan Brown Bear. The country not only is home of these amazing snow clad mountins, but its unique geographical location provides it the distinct advantage of having all the seasons at any particular time of the year. From sandy beaches of Gawadar, Ormara and Karachi in the south, the country stretches all the way to the north, buckled up with deserts and mountainous regions, before joining the Karakorum Highway in the north. The highway leads all the way into Urumchi, the southern city of the Xinjiang province of China through the legendary Khunjerab Pass. The road has been built with the joint collaboration of the Chinese and Pakistani engineers and is also referred to as the eighth wonder in the world.

Mission Statement

Www.pakistan-explorer.com does not have a strictly nationalistic approach towards these natural wonders and considers them as a common treasure of the whole mankind rather than just one country. While we continue to strive for the betterment of the local community of these areas in a bid to increase the tourist inflow in the regions, www.pakistan-explorer.com stands beyond the nationalistic and racial divides and will continue to work for a unified and better world for the coming generations.  Www.pakistan-explorer.com believes a common Pakistani or an Asian has as much the right to climb the Yosemite or the mount McKinley in Alaska or Mount Killimanjaro in Tanzania or to hitch hike across the Sahara as any of the European or an American has to scale the giant peaks of Pakistan or Nepal or anywhere in the world.  Www.pakistan-explorer.com envisions a world devoid of international borders or passports which restrict people from understanding the better part of the rest of the humanity.
